Recommended Classes per Grade Level
This is current class recommendation per Illinois State Board of Education.
Class courses may differ by major in universities and colleges, so we highly recommend to have a consultation session with us for high school students.
Math Classes
Geometry / Basic Trigonometry, Class for 8th to 10th Graders
The Geometry course is designed to emphasize the study of the properties and applications of common geometric figures in two and three dimensions. It includes the study of transformations and right triangle trigonometry.
Algebra II, Class for 8th to 10th Graders
Algebra II prepares students to take Pre-Calculus and Statistics. A major goal of this course is for students to develop skills in manipulating and solving linear, quadratic, exponential, polynomial, radical, rational, and logarithmic equations.
English Classes
Reading and Grammar III, Class for 8th to 9th Graders
Jay's EDU Reading & Grammar III classes are designed for students to be prepared for reading comprehension skills & grammar skills. Reading classes prepares students for comprehension skills for standardized tests, such as ACT/SAT/PSAT. Also, Grammar III class will prepare students for critical grammar skills for ACT/SAT/PSAT.
