9th to 12th Grade
Recommended Classes per Grade Level
This is current class recommendation per Illinois State Board of Education.
Class courses may differ by major in universities and colleges, so we highly recommend to have a consultation session with us for high school students.
ACT/SAT Classes
Most of the top class students prepare ACT or SAT around end of 9th grade, and get their result for ACT or SAT by first semester of 11th grade. Jay’s EDU is helping out 9th to 11th grade students to prepare their ACT/SAT test on first semester of 11th grade.
Many of the students receive similar percentage scores with ACT and SAT, but 30% of the students receive much higher score with one of the test. It is shown that one test may be preferred than the other test, so it is best to experience both test at 9th-10th grade and prepare for the test with better result. We have classes for ACT, SAT, and ACT/[P]SAT Dual Prep classes, as well as for students who wants to achieve highest score on ACT.(ACT Top class is available for students with 30 or higher score.)
Starting date of STANDARDIZED TEST (PSAT/SAT/ACT/PSAT8/9 Classes) will be announced separately.

Not only the top universities, most of the universities and colleges check on maintaining high GPA with rigorous classes, such as honor’s classes or AP classes. Students must maintain their GPAs with honor’s classes and AP classes to be accepted to the top universities and colleges. Many of the top universities and colleges check on maintaining good GPA with honor’s classes and AP classes, as well as getting good scores from SAT/ACT test.
Jay’s EDU offers many classes including private lessons with great tutors. Please let us know if you need any of the classes in your mind.
